Annetta S. SheriffWater Challenge Ambassador
Annetta, 14, is a student at Walt Whitman Middle School. Annetta is originally from Liberia, Africa. She has a strong interest in providing healthy and clean water for the community based on her prior experience of sourcing clean water in Africa. She’s currently a volunteer at CPDC where she helps provides assistance with educational programs for youth in lower income communities. She’s presently an “In A Perfect World” Youth Ambassador. She has won a Presidential Volunteer Service Award. She also volunteers at her school’s community food bank, as an activist for young women, and has a special interest in standing up for people who don’t have the power or voice to do so. Annetta is involved in basketball, cheerleading, dance, science club, tech club, Women of Vision and Purpose, AVID, chorus, and STEP. This passionate young woman has a dream of becoming a pediatric neurosurgeon and creating charities around the world when she grows up.
