Susan DiMarco Johnson


Susan DiMarco is a dentist who worked in private practice until 1998. Susan has been an active volunteer in numerous civic and arts related activities in New York, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. Currently she serves on the President's Advisory Committee on the Arts for the Kennedy Center as a presidential appointee. She has served on the board of directors for the Montclair Art Museum, the Mental Health Association of Essex County, and the Montclair Development Corporation. Susan was Vice Chair of the corporate board of the Covenant House, an international, privately funded childcare agency. She assisted Covenant House New Jersey in opening Nancy's Place, a residence for mentally ill homeless youth in Montclair, New Jersey.

Susan received her degree in dentistry from Georgetown and completed a two year post graduate residency at Columbia Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan-Kettering hospitals in New York City. She lives with her husband, Jeh, and their two teenagers in Washington, DC.
