Elizabeth is from Durham in the North-East of England. She studied Italian and English Literature at University in Lancaster. Elizabeth has been a teacher for thirteen years, working in the state and private sector. She has also taught abroad in America, Hungary, and South Korea.  She has been at my current school in Newcastle for two years and has been science lead for a year and a half. Elizabeth currently teaches Y4 and most of her experience is with KS2. She’s enjoyed doing work this year with the children this year on oceans via the Polar Explorer Programme and we invited the National Marine Aquarium into school. In her spare time, she likes to go walking, running, sew and read. She loves being by the ocean and goes scuba diving whenever the chance arises.
