I am a 5th grade teacher at Harloe Elementary in Arroyo Grande Ca. and consider my school my happy place. I work at the best school, with the best staff, the kindest, smartest kids that ever existed! My favorite subjects to teach are science and math, and I help put on a huge talent show for our school each year. My husband is an IT director, and my sons age 17 and 19 are busy student athletes. We love to spend time cooking, camping, and hanging out at the beach. Last summer I attended the Boeing Teacher Institute at Catalina’s USC Wrigley campus, and this past summer I attended the MATE Center’s ROV workshop in Monterey, Ca. I plan to continue building my science program by getting as much exposure to professional development put on by experts in the field. I am a huge Jacques Cousteau fan, and can’t wait to get this adventure started!
