I am a secondary school teacher at Sacred Heart College Geelong, an all-girls school of around 1400 students. I teach students from year 7 to year 12 in the areas of maths and science. Prior to teaching, I worked as a geologist in Eastern Victoria.

I love to spend time camping, hiking and traveling. Last year my fiancé and I traveled for 6 months through Europe and Central Asia, it was a trip of a lifetime. I have taken a group of students on an OpWall expedition to Fiji where students worked first hand with a scientist in the field to collect data on biodiversity. This research is being used to conserve and protect the wildlife and pristine ecosystems of Fiji. I admire and respect the work of David Attenborough and am looking forward to being involved in this unique scientific adventure.
