Ana Baquedano
Ana Baquedano is a high school senior from Houston, Texas. She is set to start studying Political Science and International Relations at Cornell University. Since she was young, Ana has been passionate about protecting the environment. From advocating around her community to contributing to drafting the National Youth Statement for climate action in 2023, Ana’s desire to take meaningful action in protecting our planet has been evident. Ana actively promotes environmental care in her community as an Ambassador for UNICEF’s CFCI Youth Council and Champions of Change. Her role with UNICEF's Emergency Preparedness agenda has equipped her with skills to tackle environmental challenges. Ana represented Texas as the youngest Delegate at the LCOY 2023 Conference, advocating for climate change mitigation and natural resource protection. Passionate about showcasing youth's potential in environmental activism, Ana engages in various projects and collaborations with environmental organizations in Texas. In her free time, she enjoys filmmaking, photography, fashion, pickleball, and True Crime podcasts, as well as spending time in nature.
