Celeste Cooper
Celeste is a seasoned consultant specializing in strategy and operations for executive teams, with more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector. Her career spans a broad range of technology-focused businesses, from early-stage startups to Fortune 50 companies. She has held various leadership roles in technical, operational, and strategic disciplines, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence worldwide. Her extensive international experience includes leading projects in Europe, Asia, and North America, enabling her to adeptly manage and implement initiatives in diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
Most recently, Celeste served as the Vice President of Business Strategy & Execution at Marvell Technology, a leading semiconductor company known for its cutting-edge innovations in data infrastructure. In this role, reporting directly to the President, she led several initiatives improving the operational cadence of the Custom Compute Services organization.
Prior to her tenure at Marvell, Celeste was part of Western Digital, a global leader in data storage solutions, where she held key leadership roles including Vice President & Chief of Staff to the CEO and Chief of Staff to the CTO. In these positions, she oversaw strategic projects and played a critical role in enhancing organizational efficiency, contributing to the company’s innovation and leadership in the storage technology industry.
Celeste has also held significant roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). She was the Vice President of Global Professional Services in the Communications Solutions Business and held various strategic and operational roles, including Vice President Strategy & Operations, Senior Director of Strategy & Operations for Network Functions Virtualization and Chief of Staff for the Converged Cloud.
Celeste held advisory roles at venture funded startups Hex Five Security, Inc. and Teridion.
Earlier in her career, she was the Chief Operating Officer at RUNA, Inc., a startup focused on e-commerce personalization technology. She also held senior engineering and program management positions at Tropos Networks, WMS Gaming, Cambia Networks, and Motorola, starting her career as a Network Engineer at Sprint.
In addition to her professional roles, Celeste enjoys volunteering and community service. She volunteers at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and has been on the committee to raise funds for the W.O. Crockett Scholarship Fund at San Jose State University for the last two years. In the past, she has served as Co-Chair of the Development School for Youth Internship Campaign Leadership Team at the All Stars Project, Inc. in San Francisco, and as the Marketing Events Chair at RISC-V International.
Celeste holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Valparaiso Technical Institute.
In her spare time, Celeste enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, SCUBA diving, hiking, mountain biking, and traveling.
