Annabel Fiero is a rising senior at Alameda High school in California, USA where she always challenges herself to learn new things. She founded Clean Marine Club at her school to advocate for ocean conservation and spread awareness through beach cleanups, water quality testings, and guest speaker panels from various organizations–local and national–fighting for this cause. She believes strongly in the importance of youth voices in the environmental movement and is the Impact Coordinator at Youth.ify, an nonprofit unifying the gen z environmental movement. In the future, Annabel aspires to work in an applied STEM field–maybe marine biology in hopes to become a marine mammal veterinarian. She is also very passionate about bridging the gender gap in STEM and Co-Leads Superposition Alameda, a nonprofit chapter working to increase representation in these fields. She loves the ocean and has swam competitively since age seven. She is really excited to be a water challenge ambassador!
