Audrey Berlie
Senior Water Challenge Ambassador
Naples, FL, USA
Growing up along the coast in Southwest Florida, Audrey Berlie developed a sense of duty for the environment early in life. Like most Floridians, she saw the ramifications of unrestricted human activity on natural systems and hoped there was another way.
For this reason, Audrey has dedicated her time to exploring the intersection of sustainability and development. From organizing $100,000 in energy efficiency upgrades to orchestrating a mural about nature’s power, Audrey actively leads multidimensional initiatives that encourages others to rethink their relationship with nature. To further these impacts, Audrey is pursuing dual degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Business at Stetson University. She hopes to be at the forefront of developing new business structures and workplace cultures that encourage humanity to live well on our planet.
As a result of her work, Audrey received an honorable mention for the Udall Scholarship in 2022 and 2023. She was also selected to be one of the 250 Future Leader Fellows by the Aspen Institute in 2023. First joining EarthEcho in high school as a Water Challenge Ambassador, Audrey is excited to be returning to work with other youth leaders on transforming society into an accountable steward of the environment.
