Gisela López Béjar is an 18-year-old student studying at the University of Barcelona in the Faculty of  Primary Education. Also, Gisela is a really young passionate about marine ecosystems and biodiversity. She had participated before in another program of the EarthEcho community, this was the Water Challenge that was based in Barcelona, she was selected in 2021 with another 12 people more to do this role.  Later on, Gisela was selected to be part of the Youth Leadership Council in 2022 with other people around the world. 

When she is not studying at the University, she tries to learn on her own different ways to help the environment, even  if it is on a small scale. She also seeks new educational opportunities focused  on marine science, so that in the future she can instil them in future generations.
