Jenny is 17 years old and is a rising high school senior living in California. Growing up near the coast, she has developed a deep appreciation for marine life and environmental conservation. Jenny has been actively engaging in volunteer service programs focusing on sustainability, including Tcya ELA Tzu Chi, for the past five years and will be holding the position of VP for the upcoming year. She has also participated in ocean conservation programs, including Heal the Bay at Manhattan Beach. Jenny is also passionate and interested in studying the intersections between business, political sciences, and sustainability in the future. She sees the potential for businesses to adopt more sustainable practices and for political systems to enact more robust environmental policies. She eagerly immerses herself in learning opportunities. She seeks to deepen her understanding of environmental sustainability through courses like AP environmental science at her school. She enjoys playing badminton, relaxing at the beach, and traveling during her spare time.
