Jin is 17 years old and from Vancouver, Canada. He will be a first-year university student this fall at the University of Victoria, studying business. Ocean conservation has always been a passion of his. At school, he is the president of an environmental club and Youth Head Delegate for his school board’s sustainability sector. Before joining EarthEcho, he was actively involved with Ocean Wise, where he participated in a youth program and embarked on his passion project. As part of his initiative, he distributed sustainable kits packed with eco-friendly products to his community. This summer, Jin will also participate in a fellowship at Yale University, designed for high school students who hope to shape the future for the better. Some of his hobbies is biking, trying out new restaurants, and vibing to his favourite music. Jin is excited about what the future brings and is ecstatic to learn more about our oceans and work with everyone at EarthEcho!
