Kerry Cogan is a South Bay native with a passion for ecology and conservation. With a degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, this is her third year teaching science at Will Rogers Middle School in Lawndale, California. She loves teaching espscially 8th grade science and a 6th grade STEM elective. She began her first year as the science department chair this school year. This 25 year old enjoys hiking and the local beer scene (like a classic millennial) and exploring California with her boyfriend!
