Expedition Fellow: Plasticseas
I teach the most amazing students Grade 5 students at Valkstone Primary School in Bentleigh East, Victoria, Australia. As the Sustainability Team leader, I support our staff in sustainability curriculum areas, and our students to run Team Green activities and to attend other science and environmental programs such as the “I sea I care” program and the John Monash Science School. My family and I love to spend time outside camping, and hanging out in nature. Before I began my teaching career, I held many corporate roles and leadership positions. I was inspired to become a teacher was when I worked for Conservation Volunteers on Conservation and Endangered species projects around Melbourne and Geelong. I have always been passionate about the environment, and love the idea that through education, I can help to change what happens in the future!
