Liam Maline
This is Liam Maline, at the end of summer vacation he will be embarking on a new adventure, high school. To help him survive this new experience he will have friends from 4-H, council members from the student council, and friends from past schools. Keeping busy this summer he is volunteering at his local libraries to help with kids, fishing camp with the DNR, many 4-H events, and a week at Mercer Med School's, virtual med camp. He is passionate about how Georgia's waterways are preserved by starting the first 4-H environmental club in Glynn County with the mini-grant he received from the many donors from this year's Youth Ocean Conservation Summit. He will use this to get more people involved with the cleaning of Georgia's waterways by hosting more beach and marsh clean-ups, working with the Glynn Environmental Coalition to host more events, teaching people about what is going on with the waterways, and hopefully work with the UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant.
