Lucas Prokopinski is a 17-year-old high school junior who is passionate about preserving the environment through innovative ideas. He has spent countless hours in nature and developed a deep love for it, which fuels his desire to protect it for future generations to enjoy and learn from.

Lucas has dedicated a lot of his time to volunteering to help his local environment and community. He is an officer for the school-led FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) group, a member of the school-led Environmental Club, and works with the DNR as part of the Clean Boats Clean Waters association to manage the spread of aquatic invasive species.

With his love for the outdoors and knowledge of natural resources and biology, Lucas plans to make significant contributions to the fight against climate change and environmental destruction, one step at a time.
