Maharba is in her last semester of mechanical engineering at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She is amazed by planet earth and how there is always something new in nature that surprises her. She did an internship at the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change calculating the country's GHG emissions and their mitigation. She is part of the student group "Sociedad de Energía y Medio Ambiente", where projects and programs focused on renewable energy, sustainability and ecology are developed. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and doing outdoor activities and sports.
