MJ Jiménez is a 20-year-old Undegraduate Environmental Science and Sustainaibility student passionate about nature-based and technological climate solutions.

Born and raised in Mexico City, María José's passion for science and technolgy started from a young age. Devoted to UN Models, Women's rights, and International Relations in highschool, María José understands the sociopolitical implications of climate change and the need for an intersectional approach. María José is currently studying a Bachelor in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability at IE University in Segovia, Spain, which has granted her various opportunities to acquire the necessary skills to tackle multi-dimensional environmental challenges. As a Fashion Club Officer and intern at Tintoremus, she is passionate about reducing waste and finding novel techniques and materials for sustainable fashion.

In her free time, MJ enjoys music discovery, dancing hip-hop, photography and film, and art.
