Marika Payne
Expedition Fellow: Plasticseas
Marika Payne has been working as a Secondary School Teacher for 15 years, with most of this time being spent at Sacred Heart College in Kyneton. Before this, she worked for 19 years as a Veterinary Nurse. She had the Science Learning Area Leader Role at Sacred Heart for 8 years until this year, when she took on a new role as Co-Director of the Senior School. She has a passion for teaching Science and Mathematics, with a particular interest in the area of Biology. She has been involved with various external programs to do with developing student skills in the area of STEM. Marika is determined to show students how important our environment is and how we can have a positive impact on it in the future.
