Mia DeMezza joined EarthEcho International in 2006 and currently serves as the Executive Director. Her career has focused on non-profit organizational management and youth leadership development. Prior to joining EarthEcho, she oversaw professional development programs for arts organizations at both Americans for the Arts and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. She has also worked for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s European Medical Division in Pittsburgh, PA, and Palermo, Sicily.

Mia holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland. A native of western Pennsylvania, Mia and her family reside in Maryland, where she has served on numerous local Boards.
