Nicole Sadler
Expedition Fellow: Plasticseas
Nicole has been a teacher and learner for 53 years (all of her life). She has worked as a teacher and education consultant in primary and secondary schools in Victoria and Western Australia, spending nine years in the Kimberley region, and she has worked for brief periods, educating children in the UK and USA. Nicole’s passion now lies in motivating young people to act towards a Sustainable Earth. She has been a participant in two Earthwatch expeditions (Teachwild and BushBlitz); she is the Western Representative on the Catholic Education Melbourne’s Environmental Sustainability and Development Committee; she supports local and statewide Kids Teaching Kids initiatives and she is currently coordinating a school-based initiative that sees St Aloysius Primary School Queenscliff partnering with Deakin University to develop primary aged Marine Science experts.
