Siya Jariwala

Siya Jariwala is from Chicago, Illinois, and is a rising college freshman studying Computer Science with a minor in Environmental Studies. She is passionate about developing technological solutions that address the climate and environmental crisis.

Siya has interned with Kashmir World Foundations to build an app that assists biologists in saving Himalayan snow leopards. She is also currently interning with Climate Trace to estimate Argentina’s beef and dairy feedlot emissions.

In her local community, Siya is a part of It’s Our Future, a youth program of Chicagoland high school students working towards climate justice and awareness in their schools and communities.

In her free time, Siya enjoys reading books, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to becoming a Marine Plastics Ambassador.
