Stephanie Anstey
Stephanie completed her degree in biochemistry at the University of Warwick followed by her PGCE in Chemistry. She has been teaching for 6 years both in the UK and in the Middle East. During her time in the Middle East, she has focussed on developing engaging STEM-based curriculums for KS3 students, linking in real-world issues as she believes that the young children of today are the future. Alongside her time at university and teaching, she has also spent time volunteering in Africa and Ghana. Whilst there she taught students from townships and worked with teachers directly, developing teaching resources and enhancing their pedagogy, through week-long CPD sessions. In her spare time, Stephanie loves to be in the great outdoors surrounded by the natural beauty the world has to offer. This includes rock climbing and scuba diving. It is these sports that have highlighted the impact that human behavior has had on the world and why she is excited to be part of the expedition and see how we can make a positive impact.
