Winnie Lin
Winnie is a current high school senior from Queens, New York passionate about addressing climate justice issues through youth voice and community empowerment. Alongside her work in environmental sustainability, she is a youth advocate for improvement of voter turnout in the younger generation and under-resourced communities. Within her local community, she hosts an annual walkathon initiative to raise awareness on pressing local, regional, and international concerns, raising over $10K towards humanitarian efforts and reaching an audience of over 6K community members. As a native New Yorker, she can be found observing the behavior of Queens’ squirrel population, discussing political challenges, and leading community engagement events at her local public library.
